My name is Julie C and I will be a rising senior in the Nursing program at Boston College. This summer I want to take the time to broaden my interest, skills and knowledge in working with the geriatric population. In clinical rotations, I have mostly enjoyed my adult health rotation. From the nursing care involved to helping with ADLs to just being a companion at the bedside I have enjoyed most. I have had many experiences in the healthcare setting working with older adults since my high school years at Southeastern Regional but also in my personal life at home. I hope to specifically gain experience this summer working as a home health aide, helping with ADLs, bathing, eating, home tasks and just spending time with clients being a companion! I would love to see if I am a fit to be a companion and do hands on care with your mother!
