About Julie

I'm a caregiver with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development. I am currently a student at Northeastern University. I work at Digital Ready, a non-profit organization devoted to providing access to STEM education to marginalized communities in Roxbury. I've always been drawn to experiential, hands-on education, people-oriented activities, and making connections across cultural boundaries. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in transparency and keeping them informed about their child's day. I provide written daily reports and follow their preferred communication method. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable spending time with up to three children at a time.
