About Justin

Hello there! My name is Justin, and I have worked with children and adults in various residential settings for 5 years. The first stop of my career landed me in a residential treatment facility designed for troubled teens with various challenges to include self harm, aggression, elopement, and more. I provided one on one counseling, which involved an emphasis on problem solving skills, coping strategies, and communication techniques. I have also worked with high functioning autistic teens (to include my 13-year-old son), in a therapeutic boarding school, and provided assistance in learning daily living activities and grounding techniques. I currently work with adults who reside in a voluntary residential setting, with disorders ranging from anxiety and depression, to psychosis and schizophrenia. Through my work, I have earned my certification as a behavioral technician. I also have three children, ages 13, 7, and 2.
