About Kalyna

My name is Kalyna and I am 28 years old. I am originally from the suburbs of Detroit but have been living in Chicago for the past two years. I recently graduated from Northwestern University and am now a certified Physician Assistant. I will likely begin a full-time PA job sometime later this year but before then I hope to spend some time as a nanny or babysitter as I have always loved working with children. I have a lot of experience working with kids of different ages. I am a former 6th and 7th grade science teacher and I spent all four summers during my undergraduate studies as a nanny to elementary aged children. I have also received training through my PA school education to work specifically with the pediatric population in a medical setting. My goal when working with children is always to encourage their creativity and imagination in a safe and validating environment while modeling good character, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
