About Kara

Hello! My name is Kara. I am currently a 29-year-old part-time nursing student. I have a BS in Culinary Arts as well. Most recently, I worked for a wonderful family of five for 1. 5 years. Although I was predominantly a nanny to their three children (ages 2-10), I also planned and executed meals for the whole family. Daily, my responsibilities included getting the children ready for school, bringing them to their various after school activities, making dinner and getting them to bed. I have also worked with children ages 4-12 at a daycare center, teaching them how to cook, about nutrition, and where food comes from. When I was not teaching, I watched and played games with the children. I am a dog lover and have babysat families with dogs, so that wouldn't be a problem! Through maintaining a job, I have become a very reliable and responsible adult. I feel like being a nanny would help prepare me when I have children of my own someday.
