I have been a nanny for over 20 years. I love taking the children on outings and exposing them to positive experiences, age appropriate activities & socialization. I am caring, nurturing, loving, compassionate, fun & safety conscious. I am fair but firm in setting boundaries; as we all know children benefit best from boundaries, routine & set rules. I have worked for many families & make it a point to remain in the children's lives long after they have outgrown me as it is for their best benefit (mine too :)) as we create such a strong & loving bond. I love children & I am looking for my next best new family to incorporate into my life. Kara has been our son's nanny since he was 15months old (he is now 2.5). She has been such a huge blessing and help to our family! Our son recently started preschool, so we have transitioned our schedules a bit, but Kara would take our son to the park, library, museum, etc to keep him busy and happy during the days. He learned to sign "more" and "all done" literally within a day of Kara starting! She was helpful with helping prepare meals, and a few small tasks when time allowed (he took long naps). She had great suggestions for our son's development and was quick to adapt if I wanted something adjusted in his schedule. We loved our time with Kara and are looking forward to continuing to see her in the years to come!
