About Kara
Experience: 4 yrs
Over the past 5+ years I have gained extensive experiences working with, teaching and caring for children. I have had the pleasure of having several practicum experiences throughout my time at SUNY Cortland in which I have worked with, developed lesson plans for and taught children ranging from infants to first graders. I have also had to joy of being a summer camp counselor for a few years in which I created engaging activities, cared for campers and interacted with parents in positive ways. At this summer camp I have been able to work with children from 5 years old up to about 11-12. I have a great love of children and have always wanted to be a teacher growing up. I recently graduated from SUNY Cortland with a degree in Early Childhood/ Childhood Education and am working on my masters now. Please contact me with any questions you or your child may have!
