About Karen

Hello! My name is Karen, I am 19 and currently a pre-Nursing major at Towson University. I have 6 years of experience in childcare. I began as a mother's helper at age 12; I would watch my neighbor's 3 young boys while she spent time with her newborn and cooked or cleaned. Since then I have had a stint as a regular babysitter for a 3-year-old and 5-year-old (until they were 6 and 8), taken care of babies as young as 6 months, and nannied a 2. 5-year-old for a week. I am a certified lifeguard, and trained in CPR and first aid. I can cook very well, and I am good at cleaning and organizing. I am down for going on walks, going to the park, coloring, doing homework, playing board games, and anything else I can do to entertain and engage your child. I also have all the patience, determination and experience to handle naptime and bedtime.
