About Karen

I currently work with ELL students who are behind grade level in reading and math. I believe in a solid, stable and fun relationship with students enabling them to feel vulnerable and safe, before learning can take place. Making mistakes is a wonderful way to learn!! Learning takes time and patience and sometimes several ways to get there. Learning should be fun, but is a struggle for many. My own son had learning issues, so I discovered that working with teachers and finding a way that worked for him, was invaluable. I am very reliable and patient, and aim to be an asset to my families!
