About Karen

Hello! My name is Karen. I am 25 years old and I am from Cali, Colombia. I am a teacher, I have a degree in Education focused on foreign languages and I have a specialization in Education Management. I was a teacher's assistant a year before arriving in the U. S. I taught preschool and kindergarten. I was an Au Pair for 2 years and I took care of two young boys. I was responsible for cooking daily meals, doing the kids' laundry and organizing their rooms. I also drove the kids to their scheduled activities; like soccer practice, swimming lessons and playdates. I was creative in planning activities for the kids during their free time to keep them engaged and entertained. I picked the kids up from school, I mentored the kids in speech and reading lessons and also assisted with their homework. I am very creative, I like outdoor activities, I really enjoy doing arts and crafts. I am friendly, patient, organized, disciplined, funny, positive and grateful. I'm always happy to help!
