About Karen

I am currently working as a Registered Behavior Technician. But I am looking for a position for the summer break. I am new to Care, but not to childcare. My experience includes babysitting. My mother also had a preschool in our house growing up, and I would help her. I have a B. A. in Psychology, which includes courses like child psychology. I substitute taught. I worked as an instructional aide for a severely autistic child who attended OCSA. I love kids. My family calls me the baby whisperer because I like to sing soft songs, rock them, and give off vibes of a safe place to lay their head. I have nephews and nieces now, ages 8-13, and I am a mom of three kids. I have experience working with ADHD, autism, and sensory issues. Working with children makes me smile. They are so innocent and look at the world differently. My CPR is also current.
