About Kate

My name is Kate and I have 11 years of teaching experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in Mathematics as well as a middle school endorsement certificate to teach grades 6-8 Mathematics. Along with my teaching degree, I hold two certificates with "AddVantage Math Recovery" a program that allows me to diagnose math deficits, as well as implement personalized math plans and advance children's math understanding and numeracy development. My years working in the classroom have best equipped me to understand your child's specific and unique needs and ultimately work to find the best approach to boost their grades and confidence. I am a creative, interactive tutor with a solid understanding of the current common core standards. I can ensure you that your child's needs will be met and their learning experience will be both fun and successful.
