About Kate

My name is Kate. J. I live in Needham, MA where my husband and I have raised our five children. Eight years ago my mother developed Alzheimer's. While she was still able to live in her own home I attended to her needs including household help, medication management, driving to doctors appts and social events, shopping, dressing and personal hygiene and companionship. When she moved to her new specialized environment I continued to assist with her care along with her medical caregivers. Caring for my mother gave me insight and appreciation for the aging process. I attended seminars and met with specialists regarding care for elders with dementia/Alzheimers. I learned the ins and outs of both physical and emotional care. Since my mother's passing I have worked with several lovely families in the same situation. I have cared for both male and female clients, and provided the same caring services I provided for my mother. I specialize in overnight care.
