About Kate

I'd describe my personality as friendly, trustworthy and energetic. I raised four kids. They all played sports through college, so our lives were very hectic. My youngest is now 25. I worked in sales before I had kids. Since then I had a cleaning business, was an instructional asst. in a special needs kindergarten and worked in food service for an elementary school. I have taken care of old and young. I helped a family with 3 kids last year and before that I was a caregiver to a 90-year-old man for almost 2 yrs. It was very rewarding to be able to help him as well as be his companion. I cleaned, cooked, helped with his meds, took him to appts. and day trips. I also have a 95year-old father that I help occasionally, since he lives in NJ. I also helped my father take care of my mother who had dementia before she died. I am comfortable with pets. We had a cat and several dogs over the years. In my spare time, I like to take walks, garden and spend time with my family.
