About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katie. I am currently a stay at home mom looking for a part time caregiving job with a schedule that fits well with my family's. Professionally, I have worked in case management for adults and children with disabilities. Most recently, I provided case management for adults living in the community in shared living. I have worked privately as a caregiver for 4 different women and men with dementia over the last 6 years (in addition to my professional job). The woman I worked with most recently moved out of state to be closer to family. I have experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including VNA and hospice, medication management, meal preparation, ADLs, wound care, mobility assistance, and bathing. I am happy to assist with pet care, errands, and housekeeping as well. And most importantly, I love to provide companionship. I love to hear individuals' stories and life history. My caregiving approach is warm, sprinkled with light humor.
