About Katelyn

Hi! I'm an English teacher in a different season of my life currently. I've transitioned to staying at home with my kids (ages 5, 3 and 1). I taught in Ridley School District working with 10-12 graders, then acquired a permanent position in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District teaching 11th grade, then moving to the middle school where I taught Language Arts for a few years with my beloved 6th and 8th graders. I resigned from my job to stay at home with my kids. I hope to return some day, so I feel tutoring is the perfect compromise. When I'm not consuming books, I love to be with my three kids, watch documentaries, eat sushi, and CrossFit. I primarily assist with writing, reading, preparing for the SAT, summer school, enrichment and homework help, but I'm open to any other English/Language Arts needs! Pay rate is based on location and time spent prepping for sessions.
