About Kate

Hello! My name is Kate, and I live on the Gig Harbor area. During the week I work with students who have special needs as a pediatric occupational therapy practitioner for a local school district, and in an outpatient pediatric clinic over summer breaks. Prior to becoming an OT practitioner, I was a career nanny for 20+ years, taught after school dance programs and toddler music classes. I'm seeking occasional weekend work in the area providing support to families through childcare and/or housework (errands, laundry, light cleaning ) preferably during daytime hours. I'm an expert at playing make believe, impromptu art projects, building forts and creating silly dances. I promote empathy, kindness, individuality and humor in all of the children that I have the opportunity to work with. I am responsible, reliable, and always come to work with a smile on my face.
