About Katharine

Personally, I've had the privilege of caring for my grandparents. Currently, I'm having a great time hanging out with my hundred-year-old Grandpa every single day. Professionally, I have a year of caregiving and medication management. I have been a high school health teacher for the last five years. I also have a background in emergency medical services. I'd describe my personality as warm, efficient, and steady. My skills include patience, attention to detail, and routine building. I like caring for seniors because it's a tremendous privilege. On good days, it is so fun to witness folks thriving in this season of their life. On harder days, I take pride in being present in what can be a very lonely experience. I started caring for seniors when I was hired as a caregiver and medication aid with Pacific senior living in 2012. In my spare time, I like to do ballet, hang with my family and friends, watch old movies, do arts and crafts, and hang with my 2 cats, Neil and Murphy!
