About Katherine

Hi! My name is Katie and I graduated with a Special Education degree from Saint Joseph's College of Maine. This is my third year as a K-3 special education teacher. I have worked and observed in various classroom settings. These include K - 5 general education classrooms, resource rooms, and self-contained classrooms. I am also a certified Preschool teacher through the Massachusetts Department of Education. I worked as a teacher in a childcare setting for five years. In this location, I spent time in classrooms with children from the ages of six weeks to six years. I have also worked in a childcare room at an athletic center for three years. In this location, I worked with children from the ages of eight weeks to 13 years. I have also been babysitting for nine years. I have also nannied full time. I am very creative. I love to keep the children that I am working with busy and active.
