About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, lighthearted, and fun! I love working with kids because when I was a kid I had such a strong relationship with my babysitters/nanny's. I love to create strong bonds with the kids and help them through challenges they may face! I'm looking for a job that allows me to engage in a family's life and create relationships that really help the kids! I started working with kids when I was a freshman in high school. I babysat here and there. As a junior, senior, and freshman in college I was a nanny for a a family who had a 6 and 9-year-old. This past year I was able to work with a family with a 4-year-old, 3-year-old, and newborn. I also have worked as a camp counselor for many years! One thing you should know about me is I am super flexible and resilient. I am always willing to be flexible with schedules, situations, late notices. My skills include creativity, patience, active listening, and responsibility!
