About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as reliable, friendly, and fun. I like working with kids because it gives me a sense of purpose and the opportunity to make a positive impact on children and their families. I find working with children fun and exciting because it allows me to be imaginative, creative, and playful! I started babysitting when I was in fifth or sixth grade. Since then, I've continued to babysit, had various nannying jobs, worked at a daycare/preschool, volunteered at Children's Mercy, and worked at a children's psychiatric hospital. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, spend time outside, and try new restaurants around Kansas City! My child care skills include compassion, communication, and adaptability.
