About Katherine

Hello, my name is Katherine! I am a third-year Elementary Education and Humanities major at a local college. In school, I am a member of the Honors Program, a Peer Tutor, president of a community service club, and on the executive board of student government association. I have had placements in numerous different school systems in MA with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Additionally, I have previously been employed as an Early Education and Care certified teacher at a daycare with students ages 6 months to 6 years. I have been volunteering and working with children most of my life. I have always had a passion for helping others. Growing up, I would often visit elementary classrooms and volunteer as a guest reader or assist in an English Language Learners Classroom. Professionally, I began working with children three years ago when I began working at a daycare. I am passionate about helping to facilitate learning through art, music, outside play, reading, and more!
