Hi! My name is Katie and I love working with children. I have a B. A in Special Education with a teaching license K-12 as well as my AMI (Association Montessori International) Montessori Certificate. I have been working with kids for more than 10 years. I love to see the smile on their faces when they figure something out for the first time. I am reliable, responsible and caring. I do believe that children should be independent and I help them by teaching them life long skills. I help children figure out solutions to social problems.

Katie was our nanny for the past year and she was amazing! We have 3 boys, (ages 6 and 4-year old twins) and they absolutely loved her. She really became a part of our family. She is extremely reliable and showed up a few minutes early everyday, so we had a chance to talk before I had to leave for work. She's very creative and planned activities and art projects for the boys. We also felt comfortable with her driving the boys to school or excursions. She has a very calm demeanor and the boys listened to and respected her. Since the boys are now school-aged, we no longer need someone full time, but we hope to continue to use her as a babysitter. I can't say enough great things about Katie, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare!
