About Katherine

Hello, my name is Katherine! I have been working in care positions for the past 6 years as a worker or intern in a Montessori daycare, a school for children with behavioral issues, a school for children with developmental disorders, and a pediatric occupational therapy clinic. I have also worked as an in-home caregiver for a young adult with autism and another young man who used a wheelchair. (Fun fact: I currently work part time as a kid's party princess performer!) I am a grad student at Towson studying to become an Occupational Therapist and work in elementary schools. I have a CPR/first aid certification and I have received my vaccinations/booster for covid-19. I am also a non-smoker and I LOVE pets (I have several of my own)! I have high levels of patience for children and believe that they thrive in environments that involve positive reinforcement, engaging activities, and learning through play.
