I have worked in Healthcare management and process improvement for over 25 years. While most of my experience has been on the business side, I have gained vast knowledge along the way from physicians and clinical staff I had the pleasure to work with. I managed an Alzheimer's clinic previously. I assisted during exams, testing and support groups. I managed front desks and trained staff on customer service and streamlining procedures. I have knowledge to lessen the stress of going to a doctor's appointment can have at times, when elderly patients are not given the time or patience needed. I have cared for sick family members who had cancer and were in hospice care, and illnesses that moved them from inpatient hospital to rehab centers. I believe wholeheartedly in being a patient advocate, to ask the right questions, and leave no stone unturned when it comes to patient care. I would be a liaison between your family member and physician offices when you cannot be present.
