I am interested in senior care because I have taken care of both my parents, and my aunt when they were ill. I have lived in for periods of time to help them. I have also worked for home helpers and interim healthcare and stavros. I have done shared living with a handicapped woman in my home. Presently I am working with 2 elderly women who have dementia part time. I also work part time with a man who has autism. With over 20 years of experience, I have worked with people in wheelchairs, some with dementia and some just needing a little help. I am CPR and first aid certified and I am also MAPP certified so I can manage and distribute medication if needed. I hope to work with others and help them in any way I can.

I wanted to put in a review of Kathleen. Even though I did not get to hire her, which was my fault entirely (shortly after we began our conversations, my father took a turn for the worse), I have to acknowledge her for her promptness in replies, genuine concern for my father who she never met and an eagerness to be of assistance. She did not hesitate to send me her references, which look outstanding. She answered any question I had without hesitation, and was making herself available when I would need her. I would not hesitate to reach out to her if someone is needing care. If I find I myself in a position needing someone again, Kathleen would me my first call. Thank you Kathleen.
