Hi! My name is Katie, I am 22 years old and I am a recent UMass Amherst graduate. In high school, I spent time tutoring children and teenagers in varying subjects. I typically would help students prepare for exams and find ways to improve their studying habits. I would assist in the students gaining knowledge in a desired subject. I have been practicing yoga for about 5 years now, and I am currently in the process of obtaining my 200 hour yoga certification so I can teach yoga to others. I regularly volunteer for a nonprofit organization teaching children and teenagers with developmental disabilities such as autism and Down syndrome how to ice skate. I am very passionate about the work I do and hope that I will be able to share my passion and positivity with you! I'd describe my personality as peaceful, positive, and kind.
