About Kathryn

Hi! My name is Kathryn. I just recently left my job as a teacher at a local private preschool, where I worked for 4 years with 1-1. 5-year-olds. I enjoyed the age group very much but am ready to help out in a more individualized care setting. I graduated from UGA with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. After graduating I participated in an internship program in Seattle, Washington with a non-profit: Outdoors for All. We helped individuals and groups of all abilities experience different types of outdoor recreation. For many years I stayed in Seattle, Washington and served as a live-in caregiver for young adults with disabilities. In 2014, my husband and I moved back to Georgia and I have been working with children since that time. I look back on my time as a caregiver with gratitude. I am thankful the experience and friendships that were formed. I would love to have the opportunity to serve in the capacity, again. Thanks for your time and consideration.
