About Kathryn

I have been in the childcare industry for over 10 years. I began as a preschool teacher in Northern VA and then became a nanny when my husband and I moved out to the country almost 4 years ago. From cooking, housekeeping, singing, arts and crafts, snuggles, lessons, manners, and schedules; I can do it all. :) I feel strongly that children thrive on routine and structure mixed with plenty of love, encouragement, play, and the outdoors! My husband and I are very active and love the outdoors; we do not have a human family of our own, but 4 mischievous dogs whom I find harder to care for than humans! ;) I am looking for a family that I can grow with, be with long term and become a part of the "family." A family where we can be a team-partnership to help raise your children to be the very best they can be through love, happiness, play, nature, and guidance.
