Children are delightful. I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old (a very mature only child) and have since lived in intentional community and witnessed multiple births and helped out those mothers. I also have experience teaching gymnastics levels 1-3 (4-year-olds-10-year-olds or so) 6th grade volleyball, k-12 yoga and helping out my mama friends of course. I love to engage in crafts, music, and movement. I will sing with your kids and interact with them actively, provided there is the space and resources! I can also tutor. I am great at math and reading/writing. I look forward to a few 'shifts' a week, preferably a chunk of hours each. I am open to working with your schedules if they can work with mine. Katie (aka Piper) has been watching my toddler boys for over a year now. She started as full time nanny while I worked from home, and now as a sitter because I left my job (unrelated to Piper’s work). She has a wonderful spirit and connects with my boys in such a fun and playful way. She is amazingly patient and and speaks to the boys with respect and kindness. I would recommend her for full time or part time nanny/caregiver.
