About Katie

I am a sophomore at the University of Kansas studying architecture. I am home for the summer and would love to nanny for a family. I am looking for a full-time, summer job. I began working with kids when I was 14 after becoming Red Cross certified through their babysitting course. I enjoyed working with kids, so I have nannied every summer since. I am fun-loving, responsible, and kind, and love trying new things. I like the creativity and silliness of working with children and love being able to see them learn and grow. In my past jobs I carpooled the kids and their friends to practice and other activities. I also made meals, played games, and did crafts. I also helped problem-solve and resolve conflicts between siblings. I like reading, playing sports, and being outside. I played soccer and tennis in high school for Sussex Hamilton, and would love to engage with the kids in practicing for their sports. I love animals and would love to be a positive influence in your child's life.
