About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I am a doctor of physical therapy who recently graduated and have a few months off! Aside from babysitting, I have experience with kids from healthcare and education opportunities. I was an English as a Second Language Teacher in Prague for 15 children aged 4-11. Although I did not know Czech, I was able to maintain classroom discipline and engage students through creative lesson plans. I also worked as an Adapted Physical Education Aide for pre-schoolers. I helped run exercises classes for students with various disabilities and individualized lesson plans according to the students' unique motor developmental goals. I am very enthusiastic to work with kids and hope to go into the pediatric sphere of physical therapy! I do my best to keep the kids engaged when I babysit and like to play outside, do crafts, board games, etc. to keep them entertained.
