About Katie

Hello! I am a teacher and experienced babysitter who has always had a passion for working with children. My caring nature has led me to work as a babysitter, dogsitter, catsitter, and housesitter! I also have worked at an after school enrichment program and at an assisted living center for seniors. I am certified in CPR and teach others CPR and first aid as well. I love my job as a Living Arts teacher because I get to teach cooking skills, arts and crafts, gardening, sewing, and life skills. I recently launched a pen pal program between my middle schoolers and senior citizens. As a babysitter, I am kind, caring, and empathetic. I love engaging with kids, whether it's building a fort, playing pretend, or baking cookies. I would love to share what I've learned after years of teaching arts and crafts--rainy days would never be a problem!
