About Kayla

I'm a licensed cosmetologist just looking for a little extra income. I'm a mother of two girls who will be 16 & 21 this summer! I've worked in the youth ministry at my church for 10 years, going to camps, spending time, playing games, talking through hard times. Grades 6th-12th. I have a lot of experience with kids of all ages that comes from parenting. I treat them all as if they were mine... it takes a village. I'd describe my personality as funny, caring and joyful. I like working with kids because they're energetic, kind (sometimes) and they're the next group of leaders. I'm looking for a job that has a lot of flexibility. My oldest is in high school now and is a wrestler. She's about to start driving, but November-February are our busiest times of the year. I'd really just like something that can fill my day off. And more as needed! In my spare time, I like to craft. I sew shirts, make "Welcome Home" posters for deployed soldiers. Help with school projects. We love movies!
