About Kellie

Hi, I'm Kellie! The family I've been a live in nanny for since June is moving due to a job offer. I've worked in childcare since the beginning of my working life at 14. I taught preschool gymnastics up to 12 y/o for many years, at two locations (here/Florida, driving a gymnastics school bus and also teaching. I was a teacher at a church in Columbia for a couple years in the preschool room and also subbed in the other age rooms. As a nanny I feel my purpose is to care for children obviously but more in depth, facilitate a healthy/happy home environment in ways the family that I work for needs. I often find myself cleaning, doing dishes, organizing spaces that have been "I've been meaning to get to that" piles of things, grocery outings with the kids etc. I study independently childhood development and family connection, it's my passion. I love that my work continues my education. Looking for a family that needs care full time, rate is $24/hr. Not necessarily looking to be a live-in.
