Hi, my name is Kelly G. I am Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certified. I am also working on completing my child care training courses with the state DCF program. I have completed the first 30 hours of my training, and only need to complete my last 10 hours for my certification. I have a lot of experience working with children. I worked at a preschool as a Teacher's Assistant from 2006-2011, when I moved to Lauderhill. My job as a Teacher's Assistant was a summer job and occasionally as a substitute when multiple assistants were out. My job during the summer was mostly working as the 2-year-old class assistant. I had to change diapers, make snacks, vacuum, sweep, clean tables, set up water play, put away water play, assist all of the teachers in transitioning and changing for and after water play, supervising the children, relieving the teacher, and assisting any other teachers in need of relief. As a substitute I do very much the same thing as I go from classroom to classroom helping the teachers transition from classroom to playground or music and back, setting up lunch, supervising the children and relieving a teacher when necessary. I have also worked quite a few babysitting jobs, usually for family friends, except for the last few jobs between 2010 and 2012. My last babysitting job was for an 11-month-old baby boy, and it consisted of changing diapers, feeding, playing with, watching, and putting the baby down for nap time. It was a short job as the family moved out of state, but I really loved it. My job prior was a longer commitment around 6 months for 7 and 8-year-old girls. I picked them up from school, supervised and assisted in extracurricular activities and house work. My last non-family babysitting job, was actually more of a nanny position, for a 4-year-old boy. I was responsible for picking up and dropping him off at daycare. My job started first thing in the morning. I woke, dressed and fed him, and continued after daycare when I picked him up. I would make dinner, bathe him and put him to bed every night. I was with him most hours of the day, and ended the job due to conflict with my high school schedule. I love children and work very well with children. I also have a step daughter who has hyperinsulinemia whom I help care for. I am a very giving person and love to make sure everything is working well and everyone's happy. I am also very organized, clean and I'm a fast learner.

Kelly is my son's girlfriend. She takes care of my granddaughter, who has a medical condition that requires a lot of work making sure that she eats the right food, gets her medicine at the right time. Kelly had done research on her illness to make sure that she does everything right for my granddaughter. She is a very caring person with my granddaughter, making sure her homework is done, she eats all the correct food and gives her the medicine she needs to take on time. My granddaughter loves her dearly. She would be a great asset to any company.
