Hi Families! I have over a decade of experience with kids, including five years of experience as a behavior therapist for autistic children. I loved the kids I got to work with (mostly preschoolers), but became disillusioned about the flaws of the system I was working within, and left to do odd jobs of baristaing and dogwalking. I'm currently staying with family in Lancaster (I'm from NJ!) and would love a live-in nanny position for the next year. (Until I find that family, I'm available for short-term babysitting jobs, too!) Some things I love: music (folk, indie, pop, lots of Taylor Swift), writing, learning all about feelings and psychology, yoga (I've taught special need's yoga to children), green juice, and sour gummy candies. My style of childcare is informed by my psychology background. Emotional care and fostering a solid attachment are so important to me. Looking forward to getting to you know you and your children!
