I have been in senior care of over 8 years as a owner of my own agency. I sold the agency in Chicago to retire in Florida. I've discovered the need to keep working but not as a owner. I only work with men as they tend to be larger and heavier and more difficult for female caregivers. I tend to have more in common with gentlemen and enjoy hearing their stories. Since I owned a agency I trained and managed all the caregivers myself. I held my caregivers to a unprecedented high standard. You can expect this standard when hiring me to care for your husband or loved one. My hourly fee is a sliding scale depending on the amount of care that is needed. The less ambulatory the more I charge. I am currently on the BOD for Independence Health and Therapy, a non for profit that services the senior market. I have been part of this 501c3 for 4 years and love helping the senior community. I do believe in "a healthy body, a healthy mind".
