About Keyla

I'm a childcare provider as well as a college student at NIU. I'm friendly and approachable, and I firmly believe that a calm and patient demeanor is key to creating a nurturing environment. I have been working at a daycare center for 3 years now, I have experience working with infants as well as kids between 1-5 years old. With my background in early childhood education, I have been able to learn to accommodate my care to each child's need. I'm also comfortable with enforcing household rules as guided by parents, and I make it a point to communicate openly with parents about their child's day and any issues that may come up by using their preferred method of communication. I have a car, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time or more depending on their age. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and I'm pet-friendly too! I look forward to getting to know your family and providing a safe, nurturing environment for your children.
