Hi, My name is Kay! I worked with children with ASD for four years as a Registered Behavior Technician. Then, as a nanny/housekeeper for a rambunctious little boy until he was ready for preschool. I am experienced and am very comfortable with children of all ages, no matter the level of support needed. I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring, and fun! I like working with kids because it keeps me young and on my toes. I started working with kids when I realized I wanted a change from managing a group home. I loved working with adults, but children bring much more excitement and laughter to my days In my spare time, I like to paint or go hiking with my husband and pup! Kiersten was the caregiver for my grandson for six months. She was outstanding. She was excellent at not only caring for him, but also did well teaching him basic skills. She helped him build his vocabulary greatly over a short period of time. She was excellent at gently disciplining him during his two-year-old "moments". She made sure he stayed active and took him on walks and to playgrounds. My grandson really adored her. I was sorry to see her go.
