Hello, please call me Kat! I've been working with kids for over 25 years now. I worked as a summer camp counselor at the YMCA at 13. I had my first day care job at 16, and it was at the day care I grew up in! I had my first PT nanny job at 17, and have been working as a nanny and day care teacher ever since. I also work PT at a YMCA now and I love that's it's so family oriented. I love to be outdoors and be active. I love music and dancing. I have a sewing studio in my home and I love hosting craft events. I'm a non smoker, and health and wellness are important to me. I go to the gym, and love to hike and swim. I'm comfortable with any well behaved pets, even the creepy ones! I own two cats of my own, and grew up with big breed dogs. If you have any other questions, please let me know! Kat recently was a full time nanny for my 5 year old son and 1 year old daughter for the past year. She has an excellent grasp on child development and took a proactive approach to helping both children learn and grow. She was active with the kids taking them to libraries, playgrounds and even on nature adventures that they still talk about! She is a great communicator and always willing to be flexible as the kids needs and schedules changed. We are thankful for the time she spent with our family!:)
