I have babysat for years and kept children in my home when raising my children. I was a stay at home mom. I worked in the school district for 8 years. I have a son, 28 college graduate from Clemson. I have one daughter, 32, college graduate from USC. My daughter has been married for 6 years, and I have one granddaughter, 4 yrs old, and a grandson 2 years old. I am a responsible person and love children. I am seeking any babysitting jobs, full or part-time. I have many references to provide. I have worked in Corporate for many years and decided I needed a change. I love children, and I am a very responsible person with my own transportation. I will take care of your children as if they were my own. I will spend time with educational playing as well as outside time. I have flexible hours to work with you.

Pros: Engaging Communication: Kim is very talkative, which likely contributes positively to children's language development. Punctuality: She is generally on time, with only occasional delays of up to 3 minutes. Household Help: Kim takes care of washing and putting away kids' clothes and burp cloths, as well as doing dishes. Efficient Diaper Changes: She changes diapers quickly and efficiently. Cons: Excessive Talking: Kim's talkativeness can be disruptive, especially if you work from home. She tends to talk to you during work hours, including when you're on calls. Overstaying: Even when you return home well before her scheduled departure time, she often stays to chat about non-care related topics, considering this time as on the clock. Pay Discrepancies: Kim considers the time spent talking to you while you care for your children as billable, which can lead to conflicts over pay, especially if she requests to leave early throughout the week. Unprofessional Behavior: During a dispute over pay, she became aggressive and loud in front of the children, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. Responsibility Issues: She insisted that you are responsible for redirecting your child when working from home, despite her not making efforts to keep the child occupied. Parental Interference: Kim gave unsolicited advice on parenting and accused you of lying about feeding schedules, which caused unnecessary stress. Communication Challenges: She sometimes needs to be told the same thing multiple times and has claimed that certain conversations never occurred. Unreliable During Conflict: On the morning of the pay discrepancy and her erratic behavior, Kim left us stranded without childcare while we were actively supposed to be working, which was highly inconvenient and unprofessional. Overall, while Kim has many strengths that could make her a great fit for some families, her communication style and approach to working hours may not be suitable for those who work from home or have specific expectations about nanny responsibilities and boundaries.
