I am a mother and I know how hard it is to trust someone to care for the love of your life. I have two children of my own, a 26-year-old graduate of a university and first year law student and my daughter who is 24-years-old, studying to be a nurse. I have over 30 years of experience caring for children of all ages. Although I am 51-years-old, I am a true kid at heart. I am in awe of how children see the world and I try my best to see it as they do. I consider myself a child's advocate. I listen and have a keen sense of what a child needs (and many tricks to figure it out when it isn't apparent). I am extremely patient and nurturing. I know your child will feel special and secure in my care while you are away. I will love on them, sing, dance, read, teach and play. It will be such a rewarding experience for me to be a part of your life and to help you have the peace of mind you deserve. Kim and her daughter teamed-up to watch 7 cousins ranging from age 11 months to 10 years for an afternoon and evening so we parents could attend a family wedding. They were fabulous! They arrived right on time and waltzed in with warmth, confidence, and a bag full of activities for the kids. They took wonderful care of the kids (and left our rental kitchen cleaner than it'd been all week!), and managed to get to know and understand each kid for their unique qualities and needs in such a short time. When I asked my 4 year old what his favorite part of the week's vacation was he said, "The babysitters." We cannot recommend Kim highly enough, and are only sad she's too far from our home base for repeat babysitting!
