About Kim

I began working in a nursing home after school when I was in 10th grade because I love to help others, especially seniors. Over the years I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, mental health facilities, live-in home care, and companion positions. I have 25+ years experience with all types of dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, palliative care, and as a caregiver companion. This includes medication management, personal care, preparing meals, light cleaning, errands, shopping, appointment transportation, and companionship. I believe kindness is a vital part of care as is listening to the needs of patients and families. A schedule is also important and provides patients (especially the elderly) with a sense of safety and security. Maintaining a clean, positive, caring environment while still allowing patient dignity is my goal. College educated, home health aide certified, and CPR certified. I have a car and excellent driving record. Also available for travel care.
