About Kristin

I have my B. S. in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Iowa. I have been working with children in a professional setting since 2016. I started working at a day camp for kids with disabilities ages 6-21 as an inclusion aide while also working at the teen camp with kids ages 12-16. I began working in 2018 and continued to work with them until 2021. Here I cared for all individuals ages ranging from 3-99 with all ability levels. I have worked as an RBT for children with autism ages ranging from 3-14. My most recent job experience was working in a behavioral school with middle school-aged children. I am skilled in de-escalation, positive relationship building, and providing a safe and nurturing environment. I enjoy cooking, baking, crafts, camping, and being outdoors. What I enjoy most about working with children is being able to experience the world through their eyes, they can teach us a lot about enjoying the little things.
