About Kristy

Hello there. I am a mom to two wonderful children ages 8 and 14. I have also been working in the childcare field for 20+ years now . I have spent the last 8 years watching children in my home as well as babysitting for date nights for the families who have needed. I enjoy being creative and love planning themes and activities for children to keep us busy. This includes holiday themed fun , science activities , LOTS of art projects ( my favorite!) and even loud musical dance parties. Although I love to have fun and be silly I also like to watch children learn and grow by working with them on age appropriate skills : learning the alphabet, numbers, writing and spelling etc. Although I am open for " occasional" care I do like to work long term with families who become lifelong friends . . Especially when they become close to my 8-year-old . She has made so many friends as we have gotten the opportunity to work with some wonderful families here in our town
