I'm a married stay at home mom with two, ages 2 and 20 months old. My education history consists of nursing assistant and prerequisite nursing classes. I spent the majority of my adult life in healthcare having cared for patients with stroke, dementia and spinal cord injuries. I had an active CNA certificate in the state of Illinois and Florida before letting it lapse to stay home with my children. I worked in the hospital systems in Illinois for 3 years in orthopedic, neurology and pediatrics units and home health through the state of Illinois. Prior to my nursing assistant career I was a Nanny for three separate families. I am currently re-certifying my BLS certificate. People often tell me I'm a caring individual with determination and drive to do the best I can and to help those around me. I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening and finding new healthy recipes for my family.
