About Kyndia

I am an energetic Kindergarten teacher living in the Laurel, MD area. I've taught Kindergarten and first grade for the past five years and have experience teaching children under the 5-6 year age bracket as well. My first teaching assignment was in a dual English-Spanish immersion classroom, therefore I do have minimal experience with speaking Spanish. I am very optimistic and am always looking for the bright side of life! I'm very understanding, flexible and as my mother says "You're like a Dr. Dolittle.. but for children!" I'm looking to continue my normal summer job of nannying. Once the school year begins (normally late August), I plan to work late afternoons and evenings, but my daytime hours will be reduced. I am organized, adaptable and am always willing to help. I always say "If I can handle a classroom of 20, I'm sure I can handle 1-3 and make it even more fun!"
