About Laela

The most important thing to know about my professional background is my passion for childcare, interactive education, and healthy homes. I've been teaching music & movement classes virtually for preschools and Montessori students since March 2020. Between 2016 and 2020, I split my time between babysitting and teaching family yoga at schools, homes, camps, and spiritual centers. During this time, I also gained college credits in Psychology with a focus in Early Child Development, and completed vocational training in digital design. When caring for smaller children, I incorporate activities from my music & movement classes. I've been enthusiastic about both creative and practical uses of tech since becoming a freelancer at 12 years old, and am always happy to help with remote learning. A few bright older children have also been excited to work on little design projects together. My long-term goal is to continue professionally and academically in family health.
