About Laila

I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BS in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Dance. I have 14 years of experience working with children through babysitting, volunteering and working at childcare centers, teaching swim lessons, nannying, and working as a dance instructor. I am comfortable working with all ages, especially infants and toddlers. I embrace play-based learning through various games, art or baking projects, and sensory explorations in my day-to-day interactions. I also enjoy taking children on outings such as the park, swimming pools, zoos, children's museums, etc. I am willing to do meal prep, light housekeeping, help with homework, and I have my own transportation. I am very comfortable around pets and am willing to do pet sitting as well. I will be moving to the Bellingham area in September 2024.
